Grubs, drought, chinch bugs and too much shade did our Saint Augustine lawn in more than once now. I re-sodded it myself at least once and as a result the grade was also off - there was a bit of a hump in the middle which prevented proper drainage. Overall, our soil was in bad shape. J Ponce and Son was recommended by a church friend and we had them out to give us a bid. They bid out a couple of options for us and worked with our budget.
